The Archbishop of Spoleto-Norcia in Italy has entrusted the Transfiguration of our Lord Parish at Avendita to the Pallottines in his Archdiocese. The parish consisting of ten villages, includes San Giorgio, the village from where the father of our Founder came from. We thank his Grace for entrusting to us this parish in his Archdiocese which has special historical significance to the Pallottines.
Fr. Joseph Kiran Madanu, who has been appointed as the Parochial Vicar of this parish, took charge during the concelebrated Holy Eucharist presided over by his Grace Most Rev. Renato Boccardo, the Archbishop of Spoleto-Norcia in the presence of Very Rev. Fr. Jacob Nampudakam, the Rector General, Rev. Fr. Pedro Camilo Simoes, the Provincial, many Pallottine and Diocesan priests and parishioners.
We wish Fr. Joseph Kiran Madanu all the best as he begins his ministry in the Archdiocese of Spoleto - Norcia.
